This cardigan follows research into cable knitting, and moving the permutations of stitches around until the garment is all cable, with no plain fabric.

The shape and starting stitch design come from traditional Aran knitwear, with set in sleeves and ribbed welted pockets, cuffs and hem. The buttons are tailor’s melamine brace buttons.
